Miñoto-Ribeiro Way
Camiño Miñoto Ribeiro
Vedra · Boqueixón
The Miñoto-Ribeiro Way is one of the oldest routes connecting northern Portugal with Santiago de Compostela, defined by three elements: nature, thermal springs, and wine. Its name refers to the Ribeiro wine region and the use of the Miño River as a guide. From Braga it crosses the Miño into Galicia at Padrenda, passes through the wine-producing municipalities and climbs through the Deza region. In the Terras de Santiago geodestination it passes through Vedra and Boqueixón —near the legendary Pico Sacro— before entering Santiago through the historic Arco de Mazarelos gate.
Highlights
